Purpose of the job
Development of end-to-end complex solution architects for Packet Core, investigation and analysis of KPI of Packet Core systems. Develop, optimize, and implement innovative cloud-based solutions to meet the business needs of current and future market use cases as the industry evolves
Duties and responsibilities :-
Architect a strong, advanced Packet Core infrastructure to support all needed data services.
The applicant should have a solid experience in Openstack-based cloud architecture, development, and monitoring and proven knowledge of networking, compute, storage. As well as an understanding of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS implementation and technology.
Analyze new technology, define business requirements & participate in risk analysis.
Support Sales & Business Development teams by providing the required Technical Expertise to effectively design and conceptualize the Solution Offering.
Follow on hardware and software status of Packet Core systems (SGSNs, GGSNs, DNSs, Caching, AAA & PaCo DN) that provide Data service for all Orange subscribers and evaluate new features that can optimize network performance.
Lead Packet Core RFPs, from design, evaluation of supplier selection, awarding till equipment delivery and start of implementation.

Education
University degree Faculty of Engineering-Communications or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience, 2 of which in a relevant role.
Preferred Qualifications
Good knowledge of Packet Core nodes, SGSN-MME, GGSN, vEPC, AAA, DNS.
Hand-on experience and working understanding of ETSI Model, Telco NFVI (VIM), VNF, CNF, NFVO, and VNFM.
Technical Understanding of key telco technologies: Servers virtualization, CPU pinning, NUMA, OVS, and Data Path acceleration.
Working knowledge of Linux, OpenStack, Containers, and Kubernetes Administration.
Working knowledge and understanding of storage solutions: SDS/Ceph, Disk Arrays.
Design experience in multi-tenant telco private clouds and ability to lead complex cloud projects.
