Votre rôle
Design, development and optimization of data models
Building and maintaining databases, data warehouses, data processing and storage systems
Creating and managing ETL/ELT processes
Cleaning, transforming and processing data to ensure its quality, consistency and compliance with business requirements
Creating scripts and procedures to automate processes
Testing data quality
Working with analytics and business teams to understand requirements, develop appropriate solutions, and deliver data in the right format and at the right time
Developing and maintaining documentation on data infrastructure, ETL/ELT processes, database schemas and other aspects related to data management.
Working with partners from other countries
Occasional business travel to other countrie
Votre profil
As a Data Engineer at Orange you will join a dedicated team of 30 experts working on a variety of projects supporting our branches in Poland and other European countries. We are looking for a team player with great communication skills, unafraid to share their opinions and able to organise their work well. Good ability to communicate, consult with and support the Business teams is what will make you stand out as a candidate.
This position offers a hybrid or remote (from Poland) work models and involves some international business trips.
Compétences
Our requirements:
Ability to work with large amounts of data in an operational environment
Experience in data engineering for AI/ML solutions hosted on-prem
Experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
Good knowledge of Python language, libraries and frameworks for data processing (preferred Spark)
Practical knowledge of programming environments for data analysis and Big Data technologies
Good knowledge of SQL databases
Experience in working with Git version control system
Knowledge of English and Polish at a level allowing for fluent communication and preparation of technical documentation
Nice to have:
Higher education in Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Telecommunications or related
Experience working with Linux
Knowledge about noSQL
Experience with cloud-hosted DE/AI/ML solutions (preferred GCP)
