Job Title: Donor Acquisition Manager

Reports to: Head of Acquisition

Job location: Our office is in Dublin 2 and we are currently working a hybrid model (50% remote working) and offer flexi time.

Pay Band: Grade 5 (€54,500 - €62,286) per annum.

Contract: 8 month contract (maternity cover) full-time OR part-time fixed term contract.

Job Purpose: To successfully implement Concern Worldwide’s Supporter Marketing strategy; maintaining and growing income from individual cash and regular giving supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic projects in line with the acquisition objectives of the Supporter Marketing strategy.
Manage and drive recruitment of regular givers and cash givers to grow income and supporter volumes, primarily through direct marketing channels. Consistently analyse results, interpret trends, and provide recommendations on strategic marketing direction.
Line management of the Supporter Marketing Officer; including training and coaching, supervision, approvals and performance monitoring and appraisals.
Full campaign management and execution in line with prescribed deadlines. This includes briefing agencies, sourcing content, managing data, copy development, proofing, briefing stakeholders, campaign analysis and reporting, managing costs and invoice processing.
Monitor and report on budgets and assist in building future expenditure and income targets. Work as part of the Supporter Marketing team to reach strategic targets.
To ensure that campaigns are where possible integrated or co-ordinated thematically, creatively and/or by target audience to maximise impact across Supporter Marketing.
Work closely with Donor Care, Communications, Overseas Programmes, Active Citizenship, Corporate Major Donors and other units to ensure integrated working and consistent messaging.
To work with the Head of Acquisition to implement, and where necessary review the Emergency Fundraising Strategy.
Work closely with external agencies to deliver best results, optimise campaign performance and improve and further develop the marketing mix.
Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

Degree or equivalent qualification (i.e. marketing qualification).
At least three years’ experience in a direct marketing environment.
Demonstrable experience of direct marketing recruitment channels, including digital marketing.
Experience of working in a fundraising department.
Line management of at least one person.
Demonstrable experience delivering strategic insights to improve financial performance.
Strong analysis skills, highly numerate with experience of setting and monitoring financial budgets.
Experience of using a fundraising database for effective analysis of direct marketing campaigns and trend giving patterns.
Experience of working with external suppliers to deliver successful direct marketing campaigns.
Strong planning and project management skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Excellent written skills including experience of writing and commenting on fundraising copy.
Excellent organisation skills and experience of managing a varied workload.
Excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of data protection legislation.
Desirable:

Good understanding of delivering excellent customer service/donor care
Experience of working in a marketing context across different regions
