- University degree in Accounting or Law;
- At least 5 years´ experience in Tax Department, preferable in Oil & Gas Business;
- Good knowledge of tax & financial systems (Mastersaf or similar tax systems) and SAP;
- Intermediate English;
Activités
The employee shall perform his/her activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro
Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, the environment and Company’s assets and reputation.
• Preparation of PIS and COFINS Tax Calculation using as tools SAP transactions and applications, such as General Ledger and Expenses Reports;
• Controlling and supporting the reconciliation of PIS and COFINS tax credits;
• Fulfillment and presenting PIS and COFINS tax returns (EFD) in monthly basis;
• Support for calculating taxes on importation of services, retentions, and tax accruals. Intervention in the IMP flow;
• Support in for calculating CIT (Income Tax and Social Contribution);
• Preparation of Government Takes provision and effective calculation (Royalties and Special Participation);
• Support to the parameterization of the SAP and Mastersaf with regards to the needs of the Direct taxes area;
• Analyzing changes in tax legislation and jurisprudence and communicate and discuss eventual impacts on Tax;
Calculation and Compliance process;
• Supporting the Tax Manager and the Tax Coordinator (Direct Taxes) on all tax matters;
Accountabilities:
• Timely deliver to Tax Coordinator and Tax Manager accurate and most updated data related to PIS and COFINS computation and Government Takes;
• Be detail oriented and proactive;
• Identify risks and problems and promptly communicate to the tax Coordinator to mitigate their impact;
• Interact with Finance, Commercial and Operations Department to obtain information required to fulfill PIS/COFINS and Government Takes calculation and compliance activities;
• Interact with tax auditors and consultants to discuss and provide information regarding direct tax computation;
